In any Harvest Moon or Rune Factory game, knowing the values of the Items one grew, found or otherwise obtained was extremely important. Although other Players have written excellent Guides for Family Farm, I believe a little Guide that deals specifically with all Items and their Values may be useful.
In Family Farm, Items are organised in the Barn according to the manner in which they are obtained. In other words, there are the following categories:
Crops
Trees
Animals
Gear
Workshop
Kitchen
Some of these Categories are self-explanatory. Crops will include any Item grown on a tilled Plot. Trees will include the Fruits/Products of all Trees in the game. It is the Animals Category that is the most complex as this Category will include Dairy Products, Meat, Animal Hair and Feathers as well as the Products produced in any Animal Habitat as well as those caught with a Fishing Rod. You therefore will find some Fruits and Nuts in the Animals Category.
The Workshop and Kitchen Categories are straightforward enough but I stupidly looked for Items I had made in the Workshop in my Gift Box when I should have looked for them in my Barn. It is not the identity of the Item that dictates where you can find it but the manner in which you obtain it. Thus, you can find all manner of Items, including Crops, Fruits and Products from Machines in your Gift Box if they have been sent to you as a Gift or were inside a Special Delivery Box. Remember always that you must 'Use' any Crop, Fruit or Product in order to transfer it from the Gift Box to your Barn.

Strategies for Using Ingredients
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
One of the reasons I write guides is because i enjoy the sleuthing aspect of it, and am delighted for some reason when I find an anomaly, otherwise known sometimes in the gaming world as a 'secret'.
One would imagine, logically that if there are two Machines that use a Single Ingredient to make a Product, the selling value of that Product would be the same for both Machines when the same Ingredient is used. The fact that this is not always the case presents interesting choices for the Player.
For example, there are two Single Ingredient Machines that use Wool or Animal Hair of various types to make Products. One of these is the Weaver and the other is the Toy Maker. I personally prefer the Toy Maker as the Toys it creates are absolutely charming. It is a pity that they cannot be 'placed' on the Farm but must be sold from the Barn.
In any event, some of the Materials that can be used in BOTH Machines are Wool, Alpaca Hair, Angora Hair, Fuzzy Hair, Horse Hair, Camel Hair and Swan Feathers. Here are some of the selling prices of thes items made in each of the two Machines:
Using Alpaca harvested from An Alpaca, you can make the following:
Alpaca Toy: 214 Coins
Alpaca Sweater: 208 Coins
As you can see, your Profit will increase by 6 Coins if you choose to make Alpaca Toys instead of Sweaters.
Wool:
Red Teddy Bear: 77 Coins
Wool Sweater: 95 Coins
As you can see, your Profit will increase by 18 Coins if you choose to make Wool Sweaters instead of Red Teddy Bears.
Angora Hair:
Blue Teddy Bear: 105 Coins
Angora Sweater: 118 Coins
Your Profit will increase by 13 Coins if you make Angora Sweaters instead of the Blue Teddy Bears.
Camel Hair:
Camel Toy: 213 Coins
Camel Sweater: 226 Coins
Your Profit will increase by 13 Coins if you choose to make a Camel Sweater instead of the adorable Camel Toy.
Fuzzy Hair:
Rabbit Toy: 119 Coins
Fuzzy Sweater: 138 Coins
Fuzzy Hair if used to make a Sweater instead of a Rabbit Toy will increase your Profit by 19 Coins.
Swan Feather:
Swan Toy: 65 Coins
Swan Feather Pillow: 63 Coins
Your Profit will increase by 2 Coins if you make Swan Toys instead of Pillows.
There are other Products that can be made in these two Machines but none of the others can be used in BOTH Machines.

Crops
xxxxxxx
The following are listed in alphabetical order and they will be found in your Barn in the Crops Category. However, when you wish to PLANT any Crop, there are a number of different locations where any specific Crop may be found in the Marketplace. You will find MOST Crops under the Seeds Heading in the Seeds and Trees Category. There are four types of Seasonal Seeds, however, that are found under the 'Special Seeds' Heading in the Seeds and Trees Category.
More confusing than this are the Seeds that can be found only under the 'Specials' Category where you may find them either under the 'New' Heading or the 'Special Items' Heading.
In many cases, a new Crop Seed will be introduced and will appear in a time-restricted Quest. The actual Crop Seed will be given a time restriction as well. What this signifies in effect is that there will be a limited number of Days wherein that Crop Seed has no Level requirement and can be purchased and grown by ANY Player, even one who is at Level 1. Once that time period ends, the Crop Seed still will be available in the Marketplace but will have a Level requirement.
An example of a Crop that was released in the past few months is Sesame Originally, it was available to all Players but now can be unlocked only by Players who have attained Level 63. At present, Mustard, a new Crop Seed, is available to all Players but in 13 Days, it will have a Level Requirement.

Bears in any type of Bear Habitat Honey to obtain Salmon.
Chicken Salad
Made in a Salad Machine. The two unchanging Ingredients in any Salad
are Tomato and Cucumber. To make Chicken Salad, the third Ingredient
would be Rooster Meat.

Jewelry from the Products of those mythical creatures named after
'Pegasus'. In Family Farm, there are a number of different colours and

in the Market but only can be won by completing special Quests (usually
time-restricted) or by winning them in one of the mini-games. Recently,
however, with the advent of the Farm Club Collections, one has been able to
purchase some of them using premium cash (RC) in order to complete a specific Farm Club Collection as well as being able to
obtain others as Rewards for completing Farm Club Collections.

Condiments:
Condiments are items produced in special machines or areas without using any ingredients whatsoever. The only requirement, once the machine or venue is placed, is time. For example, Salt is produced in a Salt Pond. Vinegar is produced in a Vinegar Machine. The maximum produced always is 10. You need to harvest or collect the product if you wish production to continue after that point is reached.
So far, I have not encountered any item that will allow Black Pepper to be produced. It, by rights, should be the product of a Pepper Tree. I only have obtained it by request from Neighbours.
